Sustainability in Trade & Trade Finance
ESG and sustainability have become dominating issues in the world economy. But ESG regulation is evolving and to date no internationally recognized standards have emerged. This presents a huge challenge for banks, which are struggling to integrate ESG into their risk management framework. The challenge is especially acute for commodity trade finance, which is exposed to multiple ESG risks that are poorly understood. And with compliance and reporting standards strengthening by the day, the banks that finance commodity trade need to overhaul their risk management approach urgently. This course has been designed to directly address these challenges, providing bank professionals with the information and context they need to understand how sustainability issues impact commodity trade finance. The course explores sustainability factors and impacts, examines the different approaches and frameworks that are being developed to manage ESG risk, and profiles a range of guiding documents & frameworks that can be used to successfully integrate ESG into the risk management of commodity trade finance.

Foundation Program
The foundation program will provide the basis for preparing new hires to work in the banking and financial sector. The knowledge provided by this program is a recommended milestone towards preparing our emerging and future leaders to sustain the production of efficient calibers in the banking sector. Moreover, it is the first step towards maintaining Continuous Professional Development Programs-CPD in which individuals remain competent with updated knowledge and skills, and that they are committed to a philosophy of long-life learning. Also, operating banks could allow employment after new hires attend this program. In addition, the curriculum is designed in collaboration with Pearson/Edexcel and the Chartered Banking Institute in Scotland according to employers and the market needs. In addition, it consists of multiple modules with an emphasis on preparing young and potential candidates to penetrate the banking and finance sector successfully.
Managing Asset & Liability – Advanced
In this course, participants will learn the basic elements of banks’ financial statement analysis and the role and impact of asset/liability management in executing bank strategies and enhancing bank profitability. This course will also cover the time value of money, the risk-return trade-off, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, as well as the regulatory framework with regard to capital adequacy.
Microsoft Word - Level I
This training course is designed for participants who are unfamiliar with Microsoft Word. Through a structured training course at Level I, participants will learn to create, edit, and enhance standard business documents using Microsoft Word. By the end of the course, participants will achieve basic proficiency in creating, managing, and finalizing Word documents, as well as navigating and customizing the interface.
Sales Track - Expert Level
The expert level in sales track equips learners with advanced strategies to enhance leadership capabilities and cultivate a unique team culture through case studies and practical exercises. Participants will implement strategies to optimize customer experience, foster client loyalty, and effectively use performance metrics. The program emphasizes leading by example with a clear vision and applying decision-making techniques, such as the one-door versus two-door approach. Additionally, learners will explore executive presence to communicate effectively in leadership roles and develop personalized professional development and succession plans for senior bankers.
