EBI’s Digital Workforce Development Initiative aims to qualify and train the largest number of graduates of Egyptian universities from various faculties specialized in the field of information technology and systems to bridge the gap between academic education and the requirements of the current labor market, especially with regard to information technology and sectors, through their attendance to a specialized training program at EBI premises.

As part of the continuous development of the Digital Workforce Development Initiative, EBI in collaboration with Banque Misr is proud to introduce a new specialization: E-channels/payments and Cards Systems Development and Support track.

This track aims to equip participants with hands-on knowledge and practical experience in developing specialized professionals capable of managing, optimizing, and innovating cards and payment operations in alignment with digital banking and regulatory standard.

Who should join?

The program is mainly targeting:

Fresh graduates from 2023 to 2025 from public and private universities that are accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities Faculties of:

• Faculties of Engineering (Department of Communications, Electronics, and Computers Science)
• Faculties of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence
• Faculties BIS or IS (Business Information Systems or Business Informatics)

Duration & Training Methodology

• After registration, the eligible applicants will be contacted according to their specialization and assessment, provided that they pass the submission requirements to be included in the assessment stage, during which they will be tested in: English language, psychometric, and technical and then they will be enrolled in technical interviews as well as HR interviews phase with Banque Misr.
• After finalizing the filtration phases, candidates will be contacted to start the technical tracks (including technical skills, soft skills & banking) then the last stage of preparing a graduation’s project and the final exam’s stage.
• Program duration is 15 days in the form of daily lectures that will be conducted in training classes. It requires full time commitment and attendance.

Digital Workforce Development Initiative Phases

Selection Phase

• Applicants must complete all official papers and comply with the application conditions, making sure to complete all required data otherwise your application will be discarded
• Applicant must match the criteria mentioned above to start the filtration phase

 Training Phase

• Training on technical track
• Develop personal skills and work environment skills
•  Final Assessment

 Post-Program Phase

• The assessment process takes place regularly during the program including all skills acquired during training
• Final exam (technical assessment according to the content of the program)

 Post-Graduation Phase

• Enrolling graduates in EBI’s alumni network
• Enrolling graduates in the initiative’s platform to follow up on performance & update their technical skills
• Upon successful completion of the training track, the participant will be offered a full-time employment opportunity with Banque Misr within the Information and Communication Technology sector.

Terms and Conditions

• Fresh graduates from 2023 to 2025 from public and private universities that are accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities Faculties of:
  • Faculties of Engineering (Department of Communications, Electronics, and Computers Science)
  • Faculties of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence
  • Faculties BIS or IS (Business Information Systems or Business Informatics)
• The applicant must be Egyptian
• National ID should be valid upon registration
• For males, the applicant must have performed the military service or obtaining an exemption or postponement.
• English level above intermediate, with strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
• The applicant should not have previously conducted any exams at Banque Misr
• No consanguinity up to the third degree Hired in Banque Misr.
• Candidates must pass the assessment, which will be done after the submission.
• The training track shall be held in Cairo, and attendance at the designated location is mandatory for all participants
• The training track is fully sponsored by Banque Misr. Accordingly, the participant will be required to sign a commitment agreement to work with Banque Misr for a minimum period of three (3) years.
